Rome joins the Night of Museums, 2015. It will be an evening under the stars with the culture, to discover, and rediscover for many, our Civic Museums and their exhibitions, in an extraordinary time, from 8pm to midnight with a simbolic contribution of 1 euro. A much desired appointment for Romans and tourists that makes the city shines of art during a night. In addition to the capital's museums, Palazzo delle Esposizioni and Scuderie del Quirinale are also open, as well as many other jewels of Rome.
The initiative will allow to visit the civic museums in the evening, with the temporary and permanent exhibitions hosted by paying a symbolic 1 euro ticket for entry (up to 11 pm) to MUSEI CAPITOLINI, CENTRALE MONTEMARTINI, GALLERIA D’ARTE MODERNA DI ROMA, MACRO, MACRO Testaccio, MERCATI DI TRAIANO, MUSEI DI VILLA TORLONIA, MUSEO DELL'ARA PACIS, MUSEO DI ROMA IN TRASTEVERE, MUSEO DI ROMA PALAZZO BRASCHI, MUSEO CIVICO DI ZOOLOGIA, LA PELANDA.
Access will instead be totally free, as usual, from small museums: MUSEO DI SCULTURA ANTICA GIOVANNI BARRACCO, MUSEO DELLE MURA, MUSEO CARLO BILOTTI, MUSEO PIETRO CANONICA, MUSEO NAPOLEONICO, MUSEO DELLA REPUBBLICA ROMANA E DELLA MEMORIA GARIBALDINA, e, previa prenotazione allo 060608, presso il MUSEO DI CASAL DE' PAZZI.
Scuderie del Quirinale and Palazzo delle Esposizioni will be also open with their respective exhibitions: "Matisse. Arabesque” for Scuderia and Palexpo with "numbers, all that counts from zero to infinity ", and" David La Chapelle. After the flood. "

La Sapienza University of Rome joins the Night of Museums with the extraordinary opening of its museum complex and a number of initiatives and activities with free admission reserved even to smaller visitors. The program includes exhibitions, performances and guided tours conducted by scholars and experts in various disciplines.
